Welcome to the BCUIM Website

Welcome to the Website of The Black Country Urban Industrial Mission (BCUIM)

BCUIM is a team of chaplains seeking to connect the church with the community and the economy, through workplace visiting in the Black Country.

We believe that our work is vital to the long term sustainability of the area because we recognise the important place that work and in particular heavy industry has played in the lives of the people who have made the Black Country their home.

And we believe that even though heavy industry that gave the Black Country its name has now gone God has not abandoned his people and that there is hope for the future.

We strive to find that hope and God in the workplace and to point people to that hope and God so that they and we can lead fulfilled and meaningful lives.

We can be contacted at St.Peter's House, Exchange Street, Wolverhampton WV1 1TS, by telephone (01902 710407) or by email (enquiries@bcuim.co.uk) or you can follow us on Facebook (BCUIM) or on Twitter (#@BCUIM)
